Freaky Friday

Kupaev's girl friend came from Moscow to visit him and he wanted to do smth special for her.

So we got together and went to the skating rink. I love ice-skating)))) After that we ordered a pizza and went to sis. Olga's place and watched "Freaky Friday". We all had watched it a million times before but it was still fun:)

This is Pasha (Pashtetto). He is in the young men's. I am still young men's president.


There are only 2 young men in our branch: Pasha and Misha Rusakov. But I do have two councelors. We get together often. These 2 kids are fun to be with. Last night we went to the movie theater. We have something like a "movie night" in VOZ. This is when you come at 00.00 and watch three movies till 6 a.m. They really wanted to do it some time. I kept saying I could not because of work plus they go to school, so there was no way we could go.


But now we have ten-day vacations so they got really crazy. They said we MUST go, and so we did. I was surprised that their parents let them do that. But it was fun. We saw three Russian movies that I loved. I thought you would go to sleep right in the middle of the first movie but I was wrong:) They stayed awake during the whole thing. They loved it. In the morning I took them home because it was still dark and the buses were not running yet.

We had a New Year's Party at church. It was orgonised by Ushlepok, that's Olya Shvetsova's nick name that I gave her when we went to the youth conference several years ago. She likes her nickname:)

This is my girl friend Katya and I. I proposed to her a few weeks ago. :) We are going to get married this summer.

Here is my cat, Stepan. He was hit by a car a few days ago. I love him very much. He was such a smart cat.

Work, work, work...

A little bit about my job. I am still working at Siemens doing support for the American engineers. It is a fun job, well... at least I like it, because I get to talk with the Americans thus practising my English.

This past week we have had a guest from the States, Todd Holland, who is doing some trainings here. Though he is a big boss at Siemens, he is still a really nice guy. We all liked him.

I am going to post a picture with the girls I work with (I am the only guy in the team :)))).

Well, I, too, decided to start a blog...
We'll see how good I will be at keeping it updated:)
Why I am writing here in English? Mostly because I feel like it and it is for some of my friends who have forgotten Russian))))
